south carolina! we got there the night before tired as hell from driving from N.O. all day while listening to beat tapes (I HATE BEAT TAPES AND HEARD THEM FOR HOURS LOL. NO MATTER HOW MUCH I LIKE THE PRODUCER, I DONT WANNA LISTEN TO NO BEAT TAPE FOR HOURS.) and when we got to the telly, it was actually a live-in hotel. shit was kind of cool, probably better than most peoples apartments in new york. ill say it was even with where i live. my apt has 2 bedrooms and a living room but the hotel wasnt the projects so it won. it had a full kitchen with utensils (no i didnt use them…ok i did stir some tea with one of the spoons)

i got to meet my nephew while i was in SC so that was great. now i have to meet my little sister. yeah i still havent been to see her…oops! the promoter down there owned a mexican restaurant and the food was the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. the show was pretty cool too, not much happened in SC other than a lot of waffle house, a lot of mexican food, some beat cds, and the expensive ass fitted cap i bought from the mall. why do fitteds cost 30 dollars now? thats standard price! shit at least its black inside. i convinced myself it was worth it for that reason. it was nice to see family in SC though.

off to NC…SHOUT TO MIKO AND DOUG FOR HOLDING US DOWN AGAIN IN CHARLOTTE. i cant say thanks enough. actually theres a lot of people that hold us down on the road and i hope they all know how important they are. youre like a cup of water in the desert for real. anyways in Charlotte we rocked at this venue with the wackest stage ive ever seen in my life. the stage looked like this:

there was a living room on the stage. a living room. on stage. see the floor space in the photo? thats how much floor space it really was. lol. yo if anyone has a picture of that show please post it up. insane! we worked with what we had though and tried to have a good time and put on a good show. afterwards we had some cookout (of little brother “after the party” fame. i had what i always get…a cheddar style burger and hush puppies. i can never finish all them hush puppies) and played wii bowling…no, il played wii bowling and i went to sleep. from there i think we went back to cincinnati…

that show was doooope. pretty much a packed house on a weeknight in cincinnati is unheard of. its funny how i know people there like i live there. i guess ive been enough times though. i really enjoyed that show. i also enjoyed getting drunk and dancing with the teenage bitties when i was supposed to be on stage performing “and you say” haha…im sure we had white castles that night while the dog watched us eat. yeah i didnt share with chance (the dog) that night. i was hungry and white castles hits the spizzy when youre nice off the rum and coke. coca cola that is.

the roots show was amazing, donwill covered that one with pictures and everything. ill never be used to thought and quest acknowledging we exist though. not even on no starstruck shit, im just bugging off the fact that i used to get “you listen to them wack niggas?!?!?!” back in 96 when i had the illadelph tape, now they’ve outlasted most of the “so-called hot” cats back then…and the 2 main members are somewhat mutual fans of my group? to me thats a blessing and a half yo. captain kirk was talking about how he wikipedia’d us. haha…

the next show was cambridge mass….and that show was ill. shout to society clothing for coming through and our boy nu at puma…ahem…I HIT THE LOTTERY N*GGAAA! yes indeed. my condolences to the mc that found out he lost his friend right before he got on stage that night. he didnt get past one verse and had to leave because it was too hard. i respect it man…thanks for the love on american angster too. the show that night can be summed up in 2 words…two fourtytwo.
