von pea, this is your life!!!!

so the other day i was on google maps looking for the north carolina neighborhood i kind of grew up in…im born and raised in brooklyn but i used to spend every summer in NC up until i was 13. anyway i found it on google maps and i went on my own little street view tour. i was reminiscing hard…

(sidebar: street view is awesome for things like that, on one hand i wish it was easier to go up and down the street in that view, on the other hand that might make stalking too easy for some of these cats…smh…)

then yesterday i got a friend request on facebook from a girl i went to junior high with and that blew my mind so i pulled out the jhs yearbook and started searching and reminiscing

now tonight i went through a bunch of clothing picking out what i can take to the salvation army. funny thing is i have a lot of shirts that can be tied to my “rap milestones”: the shirt i wore when we did BHHF, when we did toronto with the roots, when we won in vegas, the gold shirt from the beer keg scene in we be, the darfur benefit in toronto, and so on and so on. i only really remember because of the photos, but still, it made me once again reminisce…

and im like nucka wait! stop all this reminiscing! youre a young man! maybe its signs of a new chapter altogether or something. i was on some VH1 “we love von pea” shit hahaha….night one, von in north carolina! night two, von in junior high and high school! night three, von in tanya morgan!
