i “nuked” my blackberry 8900 tonight. halle, sweet halle, im sorry. i know you were fine as you were, but i just had to mess with one of those leaked OS…OS’s? OSes? whatever. basically i tried to be like the cool geeks and install a new operating system on my phone and i ended up paying for it for the nice price of $L.99. plus tax. i went over to the good folks at crackberry.com and i think…i THINK that my phone is being fixed as we speak. i “wiped” it and got it to connect to my laptop again now its installing the OS that it came with. im sorry, halle. itll never happen again. i might buy you a new case to say im sorry. LOL
thats what happens when you get bored sitting around all day waiting for the new stove. they replaced my stove today and the new one looks smaller…i told myself i would try out a lemon pepper chicken recipe when the new stove came. hella domestic. no apron.
speaking of domestic im going to go and finish watching runs house (i see you jessica!) while staring at my laptop screen waiting for esther (my laptop) to tell me halle (my phone) is okay. im not going crazy i promise.
Nobody – What Album?
June 13, 2009disclaimer: this post has nothing to do with that other mc thats wilding right now, no dis to him but this has nothing to do with him. to ma dukes, house shoes, and all of my detroit people, you already know its nothing but genuine love and respect from me and my team on this side.
it was 2005 and i was on my way to class…my commute to school was at least a good 75 minutes. on this particular day i had a bunch of jay dee beat tapes on shuffle. back then i wanted to do all of these unauthorized projects over different producers beats. i did one with kanye for “grand vonye” and i did one with madlib for “further adventures of von pea”…
on this day, on my way to school, i got inspired to do one over jay dee beats. the same way the jaylib album happened, madlib did it and jay dee later heard about it. i wrote and recorded the whole thing in a week because i didnt want to put too much work into a project i wasnt even going to give to ANYONE at first. then i decided to give it to my friends, but i still censored my name and any ties to who i was…the point was i was NOT trying to get a name off of using those beats, it was truly done out of love at the time. if any gain was meant it was for dilla himself to hear it but i dont think he ever did.
anyway, the point is, ive been getting compliments on this “what album” project from a lot of people since the jay stays paid album came out, because i used a few of those same joints.
now once again, i did this in 2005, before “Be” came out (i remember because i had the “love is” beat on “what album” right before be came out…i left it instrumental because the week was up and i ran out of time) and the point was just some music for me and my friends and hopefully jay would hear it one day. now it has gotten around in that 4 years time to the point i would ask people to take that one project down from blogs and whatnot and wouldnt even trip if they were giving out the rest of my music. at this point all of the music from what album has been released commercially, so i think its fair to say if you have it, its all good to share it now.
all written and recorded in one week! what album?????

moment of clarity!!!!
June 10, 2009i just figured out something and i can now go back to work. i was saying i was back to work, but now im BACK TO WORK. i figured it out…the same thing that inspired PGHI is going to tie it together. this is what we’re supposed to do, inspire one another, and this moment of clarity was inspired by Che. thanks Che, and happy birthday.
